trauma therapy
for people in brisbane
(Supporting you with childhood trauma, religious trauma and difficult life experiences with clarity, compassion and connection.)
you’re welcome here
Hey there, I’m Sam.
I’m a Level 2 ACA Registered Counsellor, and I provide online trauma therapy for people across Brisbane, regional Queensland, and throughout Australia who have been through really hard and overwhelming experiences, including childhood trauma.
Based on the Sunshine Coast, I'm not too far from Brisbane, and I regularly support people from across South East Queensland through online therapy.
I help people make sense of what they’ve been through, understand their patterns, and move towards healing in a way that feels safe and manageable. Healing is possible, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now.
I’ve worked in the trauma space for over 20 years, and I understand how heavy it can feel to carry all of this on your own.
You don’t have to do this alone. Together, we create a space where you can explore your story safely, at your own pace.
My work is trauma-informed and relational, and I often draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you explore your inner world with curiosity, care, and self-acceptance.
online therapy (telehealth)
Online therapy gives you access to support from anywhere across Brisbane, whether you're in the CBD, the northside, southside, western suburbs, eastern suburbs, Logan, Redlands, Moreton Bay, or somewhere in between.
Instead of navigating traffic, parking, or long commutes, you can attend therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
Online therapy can be a great option if you're balancing work, family life, study, health concerns, a busy schedule, or simply feel more comfortable in a familiar environment during sessions.
Benefits of Virtual Therapy:
feel more comfortable, cozy, and safe
no travel or waiting rooms
flexible and accessible sessions
show up as you are, with a cup of tea and fidget toys if needed

Counselling support for Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse and Childhood Trauma, including Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA), helping you move from feeling overwhelmed by your past to feeling more grounded, understood, and hopeful about healing.
Therapy for religious + spiritual trauma
Counselling support for people healing from Religious Trauma and experiences in high-control environments, including Pentecostal church settings and MLMs, helping you move from confusion, self-doubt, and disconnection toward clarity, self-trust, and a stronger sense of who you are.
neuro-affirming therapy

starting therapy
Reaching out can feel like a big step. I know how nerve-wracking it might feel.
But just so you know:
You don’t need to have the right words (that’s kind of my job!).
You don’t need to have it all figured out (we’ll get there together!).
And you certainly don’t need to talk about your trauma (until you’re ready).
You’re allowed to come exactly as you are.
When you feel ready, you can book a session below — there’s also an option for a free 15-minute meet & greet if you’d prefer to start there.
Or, if you’d like to know a little more first, you can visit the FAQ.
